Reading and sources

How do I share a Quran verse with its source?

Use the copy button beside a verse to copy its text with a reference, source credit and reading link. Open the full chapter when you want someone to read the surrounding verses. Your private reflection is not included in the verse copy.

Share a traceable passage

  1. Open the verse in the language edition you want to share.
  2. Check the verse reference and identified translation.
  3. Use Copy verse with citation, then review the copied text before pasting it.
  4. Include the reading link so the recipient can check the passage in context.

How do verse links work across languages?

English has individual verse pages as well as full chapters. Other language editions link to the relevant verse inside its chapter. A recipient can use the language switcher to find an available equivalent without changing the Arabic Quran.

Can I reuse text elsewhere?

Source editions and translations have their own permission and attribution terms. Keep the source credit and check the linked notices before republishing material. A short passage should not be presented as a complete religious ruling without appropriate context and qualified guidance.
