Getting started
Is MyDeenPath free, and who is it for?
MyDeenPath is free to use without an account. It brings Quran reading, prayer calculations, learning guides and private progress tools together in a website that works on phones, tablets and computers.
Read the answerHow do I change the language?
Use the language button in the header to choose from 13 website editions. The interface changes language, while Quran translations come from named published editions rather than an automatic translation of the Arabic.

How is the Quran text checked?
The Arabic Quran is reproduced from Tanzil Uthmani v1.1 and checked against the stored source during every build. Published translations of meanings are identified separately; AI does not generate or rewrite the scripture.
Read the answerHow do I share a Quran verse with its source?
Use the copy button beside a verse to copy its text with a reference, source credit and reading link. Open the full chapter when you want someone to read the surrounding verses. Your private reflection is not included in the verse copy.
Read the answerHow do I report an error or translation issue?
Use the correction page to prepare a report with the page or verse reference, the specific issue and a supporting source. The current tool downloads a text file. It does not send the report to a support inbox.

How do I read the Quran without internet?
While connected, open My Path and download the offline library in your selected language. Wait for the completed status before disconnecting. The saved library includes all 114 surahs, search, learning pages and the website’s local calculation tools.
Read the answerCan I use MyDeenPath like a phone app?
Yes. The responsive website works in your browser, and supported browsers can add it to your home screen. Installation is optional and does not require an app-store download. Offline reading still needs a separate library download.

How do I save notes and move to another device?
Use a verse’s bookmark button to save it, or open My reflection and choose Save reflection to keep a note. My Path collects your progress. To move it, export a backup and restore that file in the destination browser.
Read the answerWhere are my location, notes and progress stored?
Saved notes, bookmarks, reading progress and prayer settings are stored in this browser on your device. They are not uploaded to a MyDeenPath account. Someone using the same browser profile may be able to read them.

Why do my prayer times differ from my mosque?
MyDeenPath calculates prayer start times from your location and settings. A mosque may publish congregation times, use a different calculation method or apply local adjustments. Compare the same date, place and type of time before changing a setting.
Read the answerHow do I add prayer reminders to my calendar?
Choose your prayer settings and month, select a reminder interval, then download Calendar (.ics) from the monthly timetable. Import the file into your calendar application. That application controls whether and how alerts appear.
Read the answerHow do I use the Qibla direction tool?
Save your location in prayer settings, then open the Qibla tool. It shows a bearing measured clockwise from true north. The arrow is a diagram; it does not track the direction your phone is facing.
